The Iowa State University football program has invited Warriors junior running back Jahan Abubakar will take a game day visit.
Abubakar announced the invitation on Twitter Tuesday evening.
The 6’2 185-pound junior running back has run 29 times for 253 yards this season through two games. He is averaging 8.7 yards per carry.
Abubakar ran 13 times for 125 yards against Andrew and 16 times for 128 yards against Eisenhower.
The Iowa State Cyclones are 1-1 on the season. They defeated Iowa 20-19 on Sat. Sept. 7.
Remaining Cyclones home games are vs. Arkansas State (Sept. 21), Baylor (Oct. 5), Central Florida (Oct. 19), Texas Tech (Nov. 2), Cincinnati (Nov. 16) and Kansas State (Nov. 30).
Iowa State University is in Ames, IA, 329 miles west of New Lenox.
