Lincoln-Way boys lacrosse faced a challenging match against Neuqua Valley, resulting in a 16-4 defeat on Saturday. Despite the loss, the Griffins demonstrated determination and effort against one of the top teams in the area.
According to reports, seniors Chris Biel and Nate Uloswceh each scored for Lincoln-Way, with junior Carter Krynski and sophomore Collin Kannenberg contributing to the team’s efforts. The Griffins capitalized on their limited offensive opportunities and maintained their resolve throughout all four quarters. Junior goalie Logan Lahey was notable for his performance, recording over 12 saves. His efforts were crucial in preventing a more significant deficit, as he made several important stops early in the game.
Head coach Tyler Jackson acknowledged the difficulty of facing Neuqua Valley but praised his team’s perseverance. “We knew Neuqua was going to be a tough matchup,” Jackson said. “But our guys didn’t quit. Logan had an outstanding game, and we saw leadership from our seniors and great energy from the younger guys.”
