The Lincoln-Way West girls cross country team turned in exceptional performances at the 6th Annual Oak Forest Mad Dash scoring 34 points, solidifying their reputation as a formidable force.
Chloe Miller led the charge with a time of 19:35.34, capturing the meet championship and guiding the varsity team to their second consecutive title in the 12-team meet.
A strong supporting performances came from Sophia Mikolajczak, who finished fourth with a time of 20:47.11. Celest Reiling, with a time of 21:08.22, and Mia Klosowski with a time of 21:37.94, also finished in the top 10 to earn medals for the Warriors.
The junior varsity girls matched their varsity counterparts’ triumph, securing the meet championship with a team score of 30 points.
Key performances from Lizzie Lemke, who finished a team-high second, Danity Paape, Carli Smith, and Payton Guendling anchored this victory, highlighting the team’s impressive depth and talent.
