Evidently Cohen Cox was feeling very confident when the Warriors took on Beecher.
Cox and the Lincoln-Way West Warriors boys varsity soccer team scored four goals in the first half to defeat Beecher on Oct. 12 by a score of 5-1.
Cox opened up the scoring first in the opening minutes of the game and added two more goals to complete the hat trick.
Other LWW goals came from Ryan Saysonghkam and Sam Irigoyen.
Assists on the night came from Saysongkham, Jackson Hirschboeck, Landyn Chellino, and Dan Maeder.
The Warriors advance to 9-7-2 on the season. The Warriors are back in action next Tuesday against LW-East for their last regular season games before playoffs start.
