Kaylee Dwyer, Lincoln-Way West Class of 2024, will open her sophomore season on the Western Kentucky Lady Toppers golf team at the Purdue Boilermaker Classic, on September 1 & 2.
The event is played at Kampen-Colser Course in West Lafayette, Ind.
As a freshman, Dwyer played 35 rounds and 12 tournaments, averaging 75.83 with a low round of 69, earning second-team all Conference USA and WGCA All-American Scholar Team honors.
Dwyer placed first at the Tennessee Spring Challenge and was in the top five of tournaments twice, the top 20 four times and the top 25 five times.
She was Western Kentucky’s top finisher twice during her freshman season in Bowling Green.
This fall, Dwyer will also play in the Badger Invitational at the University of Wisconsin (Sept. 14-16), in Vanderbilt’s Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate in Nashville (Sept. 19-21) and at the University of Tennessee’s Mercedez-Benz Intercollegiate in Knoxville (Oct. 6-7).
Last year, the Lady Toppers placed fourth in the Boilermaker Classic in 2024; Dwyer shot 84-81-79 and tied for 76th.
Dwyer was the 2024 2A State Champion and a three time Regional Champion at Lincoln-Way West. She was also three-time SWSC Red Conference Athlete of the Year.
