Dul, Spee, Ethridge set school marks in boys CxC

Lincoln-Way West’s record books for boys Cross Country just got quite a shake-up.

Nick Dul, Hunter Spee, and Parker Ethridge each entered the top-10 in LWW-school history with amazing times posted at the Lyons Township Invitational on Sept. 7.

Anthony Lusciatti and John Kennedy each posted top 15 times in school history.

It’s nice to break records, but improvement is the name of the game in cross country, and a whopping 16 Warriors runners set personal best times for a 5k in the event.

And with freshmen leading the way, the future is extremely bright. Ethridge clocked the second fastest 5k time in school history. Johna Gentry finished seventh among 107 freshman runners.

Other notable performances came from Quinn Cecich, who improved his time by four minutes and Adrian Accosta, who ran the course two minutes faster than a year ago.
