The Lincoln-Way West Varsity Volleyball team showcased their talent and determination with an impressive victory in the regional championship, defeating JCA in two dominant sets, 25-14 and 25-19.
Elly Decker stood out with 6 powerful kills, while Caroline Smith, Lily Goyer, and Kara Stigter each added 5 crucial kills to the team’s offensive success.
Claire Murphy expertly directed the attack with 15 assists, and Laney Tuttle anchored the defensive effort with 10 digs.
This win was a testament to the Warriors’ hard work and cohesive play. Next, they face top-seeded Lockport in the Sectional semifinal on Nov. 5.
