The Lincoln Way West Varsity Girls’ Tennis Team finished in 2nd Place on Day 2 of the highly competitive LW West 12-Team Invite on Saturday, October 5th.
Over the course of two thrilling days, the Warriors showcased exceptional skill and determination, led by standout players Emily Tigchelaar (3-1), Lily Lulhan (2-1), Sydney Rutkowski (2-0), and Gabby Gentle (1-0) in Singles play.
The team’s success was further bolstered by outstanding Doubles performances from Jess Dakin & Grace Cremieux (2-2), Avery Webb & Amelia Peterson (4-0), Gwen Baker & Gianna DePersia (3-0), and Addi Misek & Elle Pruim (1-1).
Their combined efforts resulted in a remarkable overall record of 11-6 for the season and a 5-3 record in SWSC match play.
The team will prepare to compete in the SWSC Tournament on Friday. The team’s dedication and hard work have truly paid off.
