Lincoln-Way West continued its strong start to the season on Tuesday, securing a decisive 16-1 victory over Plainfield South. This win advances the Warriors to a 4-0 record as they prepare for their upcoming home game against Minooka on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
According to the team’s performance details, the Warriors’ offense was notably led by Reese Forsythe, who delivered an impressive showing by going 3-for-4 at the plate. Forsythe hit a home run and a double, driving in six runs and scoring three times. Molly Finn also contributed significantly, achieving a 2-for-3 performance with a home run, three RBIs, and three runs scored.
Madi Lukasik added to the offensive strength with her own home run, finishing 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run. Reese Rourke provided two hits, including a double, an RBI, three runs scored, and a walk. Reese Cusack supported the team effort with a 2-for-3 performance, driving in two runs, scoring twice, and stealing a base.
