Girls’ Volleyball: Decker, Smith lead Warriors in season-opening loss to St. Laurence

Senior Elly Decker had six kills and three aces, senior Caroline Smith had six kills and junior Lily Goyer had four kills and two blocks, but the Warriors fell to St. Laurence, two sets to one, at home on Mon. Aug. 26.

The Vikings edged the Warriors in the first set, 25-23, and won the second, 25-20.

St. Laurence is 1-0; the Warriors are 0-1.

Up next: the Warriors travel to Lyons Township on Thurs. Aug. 29
