Lincoln-Way West junior Brady Glynn delivered a strong season at 132 pounds, putting together a consistent year that included a state tournament appearance and several major tournament finishes.
Glynn’s season concluded in February at the IHSA Class 3A State Finals in Champaign, where he qualified for the state tournament and won a match in the consolation bracket against some of Illinois’ top competition.
Throughout the season, Glynn proved himself as one of the Warriors’ most reliable wrestlers. One of his biggest accomplishments came at the SWSC Tom Lahey Conference Tournament, where he captured the conference championship at 132 pounds.
Glynn also performed well in several highly competitive in-season tournaments. He placed fourth at the Illini Classic, finished third at the Rex Whitlach Invitational and took sixth place at the prestigious Dan Gable Donnybrook.
His postseason run included a runner-up finish at the regional tournament, which helped him advance through the state series and ultimately qualify for the IHSA State Finals. With a conference title, multiple tournament placements and a state appearance, Glynn’s junior season highlighted both his growth and determination.
