Lincoln-Way West delivered one of its strongest performances of the young season, overwhelming Simeon 82–39 in a commanding home non-conference win.
The matchup took place on November 25 at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox. From the opening tip, the Warriors controlled every phase of the game, applying relentless defensive pressure and pushing the pace to create high-percentage scoring opportunities. While Simeon struggled to find rhythm, Lincoln-Way West’s depth and energy set the tone early and never wavered.
According to reports from the game, even without official stats entered for the Warriors, their dominance was evident in their ability to dictate tempo and convert consistently in transition. Lincoln-Way West’s ball movement and physicality forced Simeon into turnovers, rushed shots, and uneven possessions throughout the night.
Simeon received a strong effort from senior G. Howard, who scored 18 points and was the lone consistent offensive threat for the Wolverines. However, Lincoln-Way West’s advantage in execution, rebounding, and defensive rotations proved too much for the visiting team to overcome.
For Lincoln-Way West, the 82-point outburst and decisive win further solidify them as a rising force this season. Backed by a deep roster and an aggressive style, they continue to establish themselves as one of the most dangerous teams in the area.
