Lily Goyer and the LWW girls volleyball team fall just short to LWE

The Lincoln-Way West Varsity girls volleyball team faced a stiff challenge against Lincoln-Way East and ultimately came up short, losing 17-25 and 23-25. 

Offensively, Lily Goyer paced the team with 5 kills, while Laney Tuttle’s defensive prowess was highlighted by her 7 digs. 

Despite the loss, the Warriors showcased their potential and competitive spirit. 

As they prepare for their next outing, they will concentrate on fine-tuning their tactics and capitalizing on scoring opportunities. 

On Oct. 16th, Lincoln-Way West travels to Lincoln Way Central, seeking redemption and a crucial victory to propel them forward.
