Lincoln-Way girls wrestling turned in another dominant performance with a sweep at the Andrew Quad.
The event was held Jan. 24 at Andrew High School, where the Warriors earned victories over Marist, Warren Township and Andrew to cap a strong showing on the mat.
Lincoln-Way opened the quad with a 65–18 win over Marist before rolling past Warren Township by a 76–6 margin. The Warriors closed the day with a 57–24 victory over Andrew, controlling the action across multiple weight classes and continuing a stretch of consistent team performances. Lincoln-Way wrestlers set the tone early in each dual, building leads through strong starts and maintaining pressure throughout the lineup.
The Warriors displayed depth and balance throughout the quad, with contributions coming from across the roster as the team handled three quality opponents. Lincoln-Way’s ability to secure bonus points and limit opportunities proved decisive in separating from the competition in each matchup.
The sweep at Andrew High School marked another successful outing for Lincoln-Way as the team continued to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. With only a limited number of competitions remaining before the postseason, the Warriors’ performance served as another example of the group’s consistency and readiness as regional competition approaches.
