Lincoln-Way West’s baseball program has been recognized on the national stage, earning a spot as a “Team to Watch” in Prep Baseball’s initial 2025 high school rankings. The Warriors are ranked No. 66, just outside the Top 50, as they prepare for a competitive season.
According to Prep Baseball, which launched its national high school rankings in 2023 and expanded to a National Top 50 in 2024, early rankings are based on past performances, player prospects, and team projections. Future updates will focus on on-field success, emphasizing wins and championships.
Lincoln-Way West’s inclusion as a team to watch highlights the program’s strength and potential heading into the spring season. With an increasing emphasis on national competition and out-of-state matchups, the Warriors will have an opportunity to prove themselves against top-tier opponents.
As the season unfolds, Prep Baseball will continue evaluating teams based on performance, factoring in key matchups, rivalry games, and grueling schedules. For now, Lincoln-Way West is firmly on the national radar with a chance to climb the rankings as they take the field this spring.
