According to reports, the match occurred on October 4, 2025, under sunny skies as the Warriors aimed to maintain their home momentum before an enthusiastic crowd.
Lincoln-Way West dominated much of the first half, securing an early lead of 1-0 by halftime due to effective midfield play and organized defense. Despite several near misses in the second half, they were unable to fend off Lockport’s late surge, which resulted in three goals after the break. Senior captain Ryan McAllister led the Warriors’ defense, while goalkeeper Ethan Collins made several crucial saves to keep his team competitive. The Warriors’ effort and energy kept the match close until its conclusion.
Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way West (10-7-2) will travel to Andrew High School on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. kickoff as they aim for a quick recovery. Meanwhile, Lockport (25-2-6) is set to host Sandburg at 6:30 p.m. on the same evening.
In their previous encounter, Lincoln-Way West defeated Lockport 2-1 in overtime, demonstrating that the Warriors remain formidable opponents ready for another significant postseason effort.
