The Lincoln-Way West boys’ cross country team is poised for a potentially historic season. With 37 athletes on the roster, the Warriors are fielding their largest squad in program history and have set high expectations for the upcoming season.
According to team sources, leading the charge is junior Nicholas Dul, a returning state qualifier and school record holder. Alongside him is standout junior Hunter Spee, who holds the program’s 800-meter record and was an All-Conference performer in 2024. Senior Anthony Lusciatti, who earned all-conference honors and broke into West’s all-time top 10 during his junior year, adds further strength to the team.
The Warriors boast significant depth with athletes such as Adrian Acosta, Quinn Cecich, Luke Bergen, Jude Chapel, Conyer Fehrenbacher, and Logan Kennedy forming a balanced core. Rising talents like sophomore Parker Ethridge—already one of the program’s fastest freshmen—signal a promising future for Lincoln-Way West.
Last fall, Lincoln-Way West placed third in the Southwest Suburban Conference and regionals and finished 11th at one of Illinois’ toughest sectionals. The team narrowly trailed powerhouse programs Minooka and Lockport.
With size, speed, and proven frontrunners, Lincoln-Way West enters 2025 determined to redefine its standards and chase history.
