Lincoln-Way West boys golf shoots low in opener

The Lincoln-Way West boys golf team kicked off its season with a team score of 322, which was good for an eighth place finish out of 20 teams at the Warrior Invitational held at The Den at Fox Creek Golf Course in Bloomington. 

The Warriors were led by Drake Been, who tallied a 4-over par 76. 

Geneva High School won the event with a team score of 293. Lincoln-Way East finished third with a score of 309, and Lincoln-Way Central came in 11th with a team tally of 337.

Lincoln-Way West’s boys golf team shot a season-low 154 in a hard-fought loss to Lincoln-Way East at the Green Garden Blue Course, 154-145.
