The Lincoln-Way West boys volleyball team opens its 2026 season March 23 when the Warriors host Plainfield North High School in a nonconference matchup.
First serve is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox as the Warriors begin their boys volleyball campaign.
Lincoln-Way West enters the season following a competitive 2025 boys volleyball season that finished with a 19-18 overall record and a 3-5 mark in the Southwest Suburban Conference. The Warriors navigated a challenging schedule that included multiple tournaments and several conference matchups throughout the spring.
Last season, Lincoln-Way West opened the year with a 2-1 victory over Plainfield North before adding wins against Plainfield East and Neuqua Valley during early tournament play. The Warriors also earned conference victories over Andrew, Lockport, and Bolingbrook while competing in the demanding Southwest Suburban Conference schedule.
The matchup against Plainfield North will serve as the first opportunity for Lincoln-Way West to establish momentum in the 2026 boys volleyball season as the Warriors prepare for another spring of conference and tournament competition.
