Lincoln-Way West demonstrated a commendable performance at the Locktoberfest Invite on October 4, 2025, held at Dellwood Park in Lockport, Illinois. The team secured a 10th place finish among the competing teams.

According to reports from the event, Nicholas Dul led Lincoln-Way West with a time of 16:03.30 in the boys’ three-mile run, earning him third place among individual runners. He was supported by his teammates whose performances contributed to a team score of 279 points, placing them ahead of certain rivals. The team’s depth was evident as multiple scorers finished within the top 60, compensating for gaps in the latter part of their lineup.

Looking ahead, Lincoln-Way West is set to host a sectional warm-up meet at New Lenox on October 11 at 9 a.m., while many of its competitors will participate in local tri-meet competitions later that weekend.

In recent competition history between Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way Central, Central narrowly defeated West with a score of 66 to 63, highlighting the intense rivalry between these two programs.
