Lincoln-Way West dance competed at the IHSA State Finals.
The state competition was held Jan. 31 at the IHSA State Finals venue, where the Warriors faced one of the deepest fields in Illinois.
Lincoln-Way West finished with a score of 83.50 to place 24th overall while performing against many of the top programs in the state. The Warriors delivered a composed and focused routine, executing with energy and precision under postseason pressure. Reaching the state finals required consistency throughout the season, and Lincoln-Way West represented the program well on the sport’s biggest stage.
The state field featured several teams scoring in the mid-to-high 90s, highlighting the level of difficulty and competitiveness present at the meet. Lincoln-Way West competed alongside programs with extensive state experience, gaining valuable insight and exposure at the highest level of competition.
Lincoln-Way West closed its season at the state finals, marking a significant milestone for the program. The performance reflected the commitment shown throughout the year and provided valuable experience that will serve as a foundation moving forward.
