Lincoln-Way West girls varsity basketball secured a decisive 59-34 victory over Andrew High School on Tuesday night, enhancing their record to 16-5 overall and 9-1 in conference play.
According to the game statistics, the Warriors demonstrated a balanced offensive strategy. Caroline Smith led the team with 16 points, while Molly Finn contributed 11 points. Mackenzie Roesner added 10 points, Ava Tisch scored 9 points, and Heaven Ward and Kaitlyn Weaver finished with 7 and 6 points respectively.
The team maintained control throughout the game, holding a consistent lead from start to finish. This win marks their third consecutive victory as they continue to perform strongly in conference matches.
“We’re playing great team basketball right now,” said head coach Ryan White. “Everyone is contributing, and it’s been exciting to see our offense click.” White expressed optimism about extending their winning streak in their upcoming game against Stagg on Thursday, January 23rd.
