Lincoln-Way West’s varsity volleyball team delivered a commanding performance on Wednesday night, sweeping Crete-Monee 2-0 in a neutral-site tournament matchup. The Warriors secured victory with set scores of 25-15 and 25-19.

According to the match details from October 15, 2025, West showcased sharp play and composure on both sides of the ball. From the opening serve, the Warriors controlled the pace, forcing Crete-Monee into defensive positions while capitalizing on every scoring opportunity.

Senior setter Claire Murphy continued her strong season as the team’s offensive engine, running a balanced attack that kept Crete-Monee guessing. Outside hitter Lily Goyer contributed with decisive kills, while Emma Novotny anchored the front line with key blocks that stopped multiple rallies.
