According to the match details, the Warriors dominated most of the weight classes, with significant contributions from several key wrestlers. The event began with two forfeit victories for Lincoln-Way West in the 106 and 113 weight classes. Charlie Tustin and Brady Glynn were each awarded 6-0 wins.
Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings responded with two quick wins. Chazz Robinson achieved a technical fall over Max Munn at 120 pounds, 17-2, and Adante Washington secured another technical fall against Shane Stream at 126 pounds, 21-5. Roan Dukes narrowly defeated Carter Dibenedetto in the 132-pound bout with an 11-9 decision, earning Homewood-Flossmoor 13 team points.
However, Lincoln-Way West regained momentum through strong performances. Henry Finley pinned Andrew Clark in the 138-pound category in just 2:28. Haden Anderson followed by pinning Henry Maier at 144 pounds in 2:58. Jack Strezo dominated Xavier Feliciano in the 150-pound match with an 18-2 technical fall.
The Vikings continued their efforts as Jovan Vukajlovic won by technical fall over Charlie Stream at 157 pounds, scoring a victory of 22-5. Nonetheless, Lincoln-Way West maintained control as DJ Freeman pinned Remond Lee at 165 pounds with a commanding technical fall of 21-3.
Homewood-Flossmoor’s Ronald Robinson managed a fall at 175 pounds against Logan Biggs in just over a minute (1:02), but it was insufficient to alter the overall outcome.
The final three weight classes resulted in forfeit wins for Lincoln-Way West. Jimmy Talley at 190 pounds, Nathan Elstner at 215 pounds, and Brandon Bavirsha at heavyweight (285 pounds) each earned victories by default (6-0). Bavirsha concluded the night with an impressive pin over Idris Akeeb in nearly six minutes (5:56), securing the win for his team.
