The Lincoln-Way West Warriors enter the 2025 football season with high expectations under head coach Luke Lokanc, looking to make a serious impact in the Southwest Suburban Conference.
The Warriors return a strong core of starters, a promising group of newcomers, and several seniors drawing college attention. That mix has raised hopes for a deep playoff run in New Lenox.
West’s schedule offers no shortage of challenges. The season opens at home against Eisenhower before a road test at perennial power Lockport in Week 2. Week 3 features Andrew, followed by a crosstown rivalry with Lincoln-Way Central.
The second half of the schedule includes trips to DeKalb, Waubonsie Valley, and a non-conference matchup at Lapeer, Michigan. The Warriors close the regular season at home against Bradley and Stagg, two games that could determine playoff positioning.
Players and coaches alike view the slate as a chance to test the team’s depth and resilience. With rivalries, road trips, and non-conference competition, Lincoln-Way West will need consistency from the start if it hopes to contend in 2025.
