Lincoln-Way West’s freshman girls volleyball team demonstrated composure and determination on Wednesday night, defeating Yorkville in straight sets, 25-21, 25-23, on their home court.

According to the match report, the Warriors set the tone early in the opening set with strong serving and steady defense to build momentum. Although Yorkville closed the gap late, Lincoln-Way West maintained their lead to close out the set 25-21.

The second set was more competitive, with rallies swinging back and forth. Yorkville challenged the Warriors deep into the frame, forcing them to focus on defense and make key plays at the net. Lincoln-Way West responded with timely kills and consistent passing, narrowly securing a 25-23 victory to win the match.
