Lincoln-Way West girls varsity basketball team faced a setback in their conference matchup against Lockport on Saturday, resulting in a 40-28 defeat.
According to the team’s records, this loss adjusts the Warriors’ overall record to 15-6 and their conference play record to 8-1. Kenzie Roesner led the Warriors with 12 points, while Caroline Smith added 9 points. Despite these individual efforts, Lincoln-Way West found it challenging to overcome a disciplined Lockport team.
The Warriors aim to recover from this loss as they prepare for their upcoming game against Andrew on Tuesday, January 21.
