Lincoln-Way West girls varsity bowling team has secured a spot in the state tournament after finishing fourth at the Eisenhower Sectional on Saturday.
According to reports, the Warriors delivered a strong team performance, posting a total score of 5,427. Leading the way was senior Allison Whalen, who bowled a career-high series of 1,210, earning her a fifth-place individual finish among nearly 100 competitors.
With their sectional success, the Warriors now advance to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) State Tournament in Rockford, where they will compete against the best teams in Illinois.
Lincoln-Way West aims to carry its momentum into the state competition as they strive for a strong finish on this significant stage.
