The Lincoln-Way West Warriors girls bowling team secured a third-place finish at the Rock n Roll Invitational, held at Palos Lanes on December 26. The event featured competition from several teams, including the Reavis Rams.
According to reports, Lincoln-Way West entered the invitational with momentum from its recent victory in the Lincoln-Way Cup and aimed to maintain its strong postseason performance against a competitive field.
The Warriors faced early challenges in the tournament but concluded the morning session with a robust 1,012 team game. Michelle Schmitz led with an impressive 286 game, earning her the high game award. Madison Tippett also received recognition for her performance, rolling a 224 and finishing seventh overall. Paige DeBella anchored the lineup with a team-best 1,167 series, guiding Lincoln-Way West to a podium finish.
Lincoln-Way West is set to compete again on January 10 against Plainfield South High School at the PSHS Invite.
