The Lincoln-Way West High School Girls Bowling Team, under the guidance of Head Coach Scott Ullian, is preparing for the upcoming season with a lineup that remains unchanged from the previous year and notable improvements made during the offseason.
According to Ullian, “We have a very positive outlook as we are returning all members of the team from last year. All of them have improved over the off-season.” The junior varsity (JV) squad has also shown progress and aims to build on its achievements from last year.
The varsity team is focused on enhancing its performance from last season, which included one tournament victory and three top-four finishes. Their ultimate objective is to advance to Day 2 at the State Tournament. Meanwhile, the JV team’s priority is continued development as they prepare to assume varsity roles in future seasons as seniors graduate.
Last June, the team secured fifth place at the High School National Tournament in Fort Wayne, Indiana, underscoring the program’s competitiveness and depth.
