The Lincoln-Way West girls varsity bowling team achieved a commendable fourth-place finish at the Plainfield South Invitational held this past Saturday at Town & Country Lanes.
According to Erin Paul, she led the Warriors by tying for 11th place with a 1,138 series, averaging 189.7 pins per game. The team faced challenging conditions but demonstrated resilience, improving on last year’s seventh-place finish. Their total series score of 5,351 (178 average) was 413 pins higher than the previous year, marking a significant improvement.
“We’ve been learning and improving at every tournament,” said head coach Scott Ullian. Ullian added that “the girls continue to grow, and it’s great to see their hard work paying off.”
The Warriors’ performance at the event underscores their progress as they approach the final stretch of the season.
