Lincoln-Way West girls bowling delivered a strong postseason performance, placing third at the Minooka Regional to earn a team advancement out of the competition.
The regional meet took place Feb. 6 at the Minooka Regional site, as the Warriors competed in IHSA postseason action.
Lincoln-Way West remained competitive throughout the event, combining steady team scoring with key individual performances to secure a top-three finish. The Warriors maintained consistency across frames and avoided costly stretches, allowing them to stay in contention as the standings tightened.
Paige DeBella led Lincoln-Way West’s individual results, rolling a 1,208 series to finish sixth overall. Michelle Schmitz followed with a 1,181 series, earning an eighth-place finish and providing important scoring support for the team total.
The third-place finish reflected Lincoln-Way West’s composure under postseason pressure and highlighted the program’s depth across the lineup. The Warriors’ ability to produce strong individual efforts while maintaining team consistency played a key role in the final standings, closing the regional with one of their strongest performances of the season.
