The LWW girls swimming and diving team is entering the 2025 season with a focus on steady improvement and long-term growth. The Warriors, featuring a roster of veteran leaders and promising freshmen, aim for consistency while competing against challenging area opponents.
According to the team’s announcement, senior captains Olivia Senesac and Natalie Briese lead the lineup, providing experience and leadership to a squad that combines seasoned returners with fresh talent. They will be supported by key contributors Emma Abdelnour, Olivya Agema, Katie Calderon, Reese Koch, Isabella Shenberger, and Ellie Trench. These athletes are expected to play significant roles in both individual and relay events.
The team also includes nine freshmen who are anticipated to make an immediate impact at both the junior varsity and varsity levels. Their presence adds depth across multiple strokes and creates internal competition that could enhance performances throughout the season.
The Warriors’ schedule comprises a mix of competitive challenges and team-building opportunities. Relay invitationals are intended to foster camaraderie among team members, while high-level meets are designed to challenge swimmers against top competitors. Additionally, the program will host its unique “college events” invite, allowing varsity athletes to test themselves in longer races that mirror collegiate competition.
