The Lincoln-Way West girls swimming team has demonstrated consistent improvement throughout the 2025 season, participating in various SouthWest Suburban Conference meets and invitationals.
According to the team’s strategy, the Warriors have focused on team depth, competitive spirit, and individual progress across all events, ranging from sprints to distance races and relays. The season commenced in late August and extended through October, with the Warriors encountering formidable competition from conference rivals such as Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East, and Sandburg. Lincoln-Way West has concentrated on refining race strategies, enhancing relay exchanges, and achieving personal bests across multiple strokes. This preparation is directed towards the IHSA Girls State Championship set for November 14–15, 2025, at FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Illinois.
Senior leadership alongside emerging underclass talent has been pivotal in the team’s advancement. The Warriors have achieved success in freestyle and backstroke events while also fortifying their relay teams to compete at a high level during the postseason.
With a foundation built on hard work and steady development, the Lincoln-Way West girls swim team continues to cultivate a culture of improvement and teamwork. This positions the program for future success in upcoming seasons.
