The Lincoln-Way West girls’ swimming team has shown strong performances in the 2025 season, demonstrating both depth and talent across their lineup.
According to recent reports, the Warriors have benefited from standout efforts by both returning athletes and emerging swimmers, setting the stage for continued success in upcoming meets. Leading the team in points are Brooke Martenz, Lily Conoboy, and Amelia Benz. Martenz leads with 534.95 points, excelling in freestyle events and relays. Conoboy follows with 422.69 points, providing consistency and leadership, while Benz contributes 413.45 points across a range of races.
Several swimmers have achieved notable personal bests this season. Erin Peterson improved her times in the 50 Breast (47.32 seconds) and 50 Free (33.22 seconds). Raelyn Ditmars lowered her time in the 50 Back (36.53 seconds), while Lyla Lokanc made significant improvements in the 100 Back (1:11.92). Abby Klink dropped nearly two seconds in the 100 Free (1:09.39).
With several important meets still ahead, Lincoln-Way West aims to build on their success as the season progresses.
