The Lincoln-Way West girls’ tennis team has demonstrated a competitive and determined 2025 campaign, characterized by steady improvement and strong performances in both singles and doubles matches.
According to the team’s performance within the SouthWest Suburban Conference, their balanced lineup and team-first mentality have kept them competitive. The season began in late August and continued through the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Girls Tennis Sectionals, held on October 17–18, 2025. Lincoln-Way West aimed to qualify individual and doubles players for the state tournament. Competing against conference opponents such as Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East, and Sandburg, the Warriors displayed grit and focus in every match.
The doubles teams of Lincoln-Way West have been a particular strength this season. Several three-set victories highlighted their composure under pressure. Throughout the season, players demonstrated technical growth and improved court awareness, reflecting the team’s strong preparation and consistent coaching.
With a blend of experienced returners and emerging young talent, Lincoln-Way West has shown resilience in a challenging schedule. As the season concludes, they continue to emphasize teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit—solidifying their position as a respected and ascending program in the conference.
