The Lincoln-Way West girls’ golf team demonstrated resilience and improvement during their conference tournament on Wednesday. The varsity squad secured a tie for fifth place, with junior Sydney Pohlmann leading the charge. Pohlmann’s performance earned her a 16th-place individual finish, solidifying her role as a consistent leader for the Warriors this season.
According to the team’s report, senior Juliana DeBoer achieved her best performance of the season with a personal-best score of 91. This effort provided the Warriors with a significant boost and highlighted the team’s depth and growth over the year. The junior varsity team also gained valuable experience by competing strongly against rival programs, showcasing Lincoln-Way West’s development pipeline for future seasons.
