The Lincoln-Way gymnastics team captured both the varsity and junior varsity conference championships at the SWSC meet.
The conference competition was held Jan. 28 at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, where Lincoln-Way delivered a complete team performance across all events.
Lincoln-Way gymnasts set the tone early and maintained consistency throughout the meet, building momentum event by event. Strong execution on vault and bars paired with steady routines on beam and floor helped separate the team from the rest of the field. The depth of the lineup allowed Lincoln-Way to post competitive scores across every rotation, contributing to the sweep of both varsity and JV titles.
The varsity group showcased poise and balance under conference pressure, while the junior varsity squad mirrored that effort with clean routines and dependable scoring. Contributions came from throughout the roster, reflecting the team’s preparation and attention to detail leading into the championship meet.
