The matchup occurred on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Lincoln-Way West High School in New Lenox, Illinois.

After falling behind 6–3 in the opening quarter, Lincoln-Way West responded with 21 unanswered points in the second quarter. Running back Jahan Abubakar scored twice, including a one-yard touchdown early in the second, and Jimmy Talley returned an interception 35 yards for a pick-six. Kenwood’s offense totaled 416 yards, with 189 rushing and 227 passing, but their two second-half touchdowns could not close the gap.
