Lincoln-Way West High School used a balanced attack and strong defensive play to secure a 3–1 road victory over Minooka High School.

The victory marks an early highlight for Lincoln-Way West’s season and demonstrates the team’s balanced attack and defensive strength. The game was played at Minooka Community High School, according to MaxPreps.

The Warriors put together one of their most complete performances of the young season, striking early and maintaining pressure throughout extra time to secure the road win. Lucy Sheriff delivered a standout effort with two goals and an assist, impacting the match from start to finish. Grace Kinsella added a goal and an assist of her own, while Abby German contributed another assist as West’s attack consistently broke through Minooka’s back line. The Warriors’ defensive unit held firm after conceding once in the first half, limiting Minooka’s chances and allowing West to control the match’s final stretches. The victory pushed the Warriors to 4–1 on the season and showcased their growing cohesion in all phases of play.
