The Lincoln-Way West boys’ and girls’ cross country teams delivered commendable performances at the SouthWest Suburban Conference Championships on October 18, 2025, held at Lockport High School East Campus.
According to the event results, senior Nicholas Dul led the boys’ varsity race with a fourth-place finish, clocking in at 15:10. The Warriors demonstrated depth and determination against formidable regional competition. Teammates Hunter Spee (17th, 15:54), Anthony Lusciatti (28th, 16:25), and Parker Ethridge (30th, 16:26) followed closely, contributing to a solid team standing. In the frosh/soph race, Ethan Brauch (16th) and Tyler Jastrzab (18th) maintained the team’s momentum, while Cameron Fritz and Kahne DeBella showed strong performances in the open division.
On the girls’ side, West’s underclass talent was evident. Adriana Litro (5th), Kate Lemke (6th), and Neve McSherry (8th) led a dominant frosh/soph pack. Penelope Pinciak (9th) and Ava Ferrucci (10th) completed an impressive top five. Varsity runners Ally Dean and Ellie Trench paced the varsity girls with near-identical finishes at 30th and 31st, respectively.
