According to the game report, West took an early lead through effective ball movement and disciplined defense that contained Central’s attack for much of the first half. The Warriors’ pressure created opportunities and forced adjustments from the Knights, demonstrating West’s ability to compete with some of the conference’s strongest teams.

Though Lincoln-Way Central rallied with two second-half goals, Lincoln-Way West continued to fight until the final whistle, not allowing their opponents an easy victory.
