The Lincoln-Way West varsity boys bowling team delivered a notable performance on December 30, finishing second out of 26 teams at the Hononegah Jr. Gold Invite.
According to the event details, the tournament featured 145 individual bowlers from various regional programs. Lincoln-Way West demonstrated depth and consistency throughout the competition, with all five varsity bowlers placing within the top 27 individually. Ryan Richter led the varsity lineup with a 12th-place individual finish, contributing significantly to the team’s high standing.
The junior varsity team also achieved commendable results, securing fourth place overall in team standings. Nolan Drake led the junior varsity lineup with a second-place individual finish, while the group recorded an eighth-place overall finish for high score. The strong performances by both varsity and junior varsity squads underscore Lincoln-Way West’s balanced program as it continues to build momentum this season.
