Lincoln-Way West’s varsity volleyball team maintained its strong start to the season with a 2-0 victory over Lincoln-Way Central on Tuesday night. The match, held at Lincoln-Way West, concluded with scores of 25-12 and 25-16.
According to the team’s performance statistics, Kara Stigter led the Warriors offensively with 10 kills, while Lily Goyer contributed 8 kills. Claire Murphy facilitated the attack with 19 assists, and Sophia Rozga anchored the defense by recording 7 digs.
The victory improves Lincoln-Way West’s record and adds another successful chapter to their crosstown rivalry. The Warriors aim to continue their balanced attack and solid defense in upcoming conference matches.
