The Lincoln-Way West girls’ volleyball team has navigated a challenging 2025 schedule, achieving an overall record of 19-15 and a 4-3 standing in the SouthWest Suburban Conference. They are currently positioned fourth in the standings as they approach their final matchup at Sandburg.
According to recent reports, as of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the Warriors have demonstrated consistency and resilience throughout a demanding schedule, maintaining competitiveness both within and outside the conference.
The team began the season with early tournament success, securing significant victories over Barrington, Hinsdale Central, and Yorkville. Their midseason performance included notable conference wins against Lincoln-Way Central, Bradley-Bourbonnais, Stagg, and Andrew. Each match emphasized their depth and composure under pressure. A four-match winning streak in mid-October featured straight-set victories over Willowbrook and Crete-Monee, highlighting the Warriors’ balanced offense and solid defense.
Despite recent narrow defeats to Lockport, Lincoln-Way East, and Homewood-Flossmoor, Lincoln-Way West remains a formidable and experienced team. Their record of 44 sets won against 36 lost illustrates how closely contested many of their matches have been. With a strong core of players and a determined mindset, the Warriors aim to conclude the regular season positively before shifting their focus to postseason competition.
