The Lincoln-Way West Warriors lost to the Lincoln-Way Central Knights 15–3 in a varsity girls water polo conference game.
The game took place at Lincoln-Way Central High School and saw the Warriors face a strong challenge from the Knights. Lincoln-Way West struggled to find offensive rhythm throughout the match and was limited to three goals as Central’s defense controlled the tempo. The Warriors continued to battle but were unable to close the gap as the Knights steadily extended their lead. The game highlighted areas for improvement as the Warriors look to bounce back in upcoming contests, according to MaxPreps.
Lincoln Way West, with 1,941 enrolled in the 2019-2020 school year, serves grades 9 to 12. It is located in New Lenox and Will County, according to Illinois Report Card.
