The Lincoln-Way West Warriors defeated the Andrew Thunderbolts 10–9 in a varsity girls softball conference game.
The closely contested matchup took place at Andrew High School and saw both teams produce consistent offense throughout the game. Lincoln-Way West built their scoring across multiple innings to stay within reach before ultimately pulling ahead by a single run. Despite Andrew’s strong offensive push and ability to keep the game close, Lincoln-Way West maintained composure in key moments to secure the win. The one-run margin highlighted the competitive nature of the game, with both teams exchanging momentum before the Warriors closed it out, according to MaxPreps.
