The Lincoln-Way West wrestling team closed its home schedule with a 59–16 victory over Bradley in a Senior Night dual.
The match and senior recognition ceremony were held Jan. 9 in the Lincoln-Way West auditorium, where the program honored its senior class on stage prior to competition.
The Warriors controlled the dual from start to finish, building an early lead and securing the team win with decisive performances across the lineup. The night served as a celebration of the graduating class, which includes Haden Anderson, Logan Biggs, Blake Cagwin, Carter DiBenedetto, Zoe Dempsey, Evan Gutierrez, Max Herman, Max Munn, Brayden Nelson, Ben Parks, Jack Strezo and Jimmy Talley.
Talley was also recognized as the 2026 recipient of the Mike Ducharme Award, presented annually to a senior wrestler who exemplifies honor, respect, integrity, resilience and a deep passion for athletics. He joins a distinguished list of past recipients, including Grahm McClure (2016), AJ Patterson (2017), Jordan Telez (2018), Jacon Cronk (2019), Ian Swidergal (2020), Justin Cronk (2021), Anthony Izzo (2022), Anthony Sherman (2023), Nick Kavooras (2024) and Nate Elstner (2025).
The evening marked a fitting sendoff for the senior class and a strong close to the Warriors’ home schedule.
