The LWW Boys Varsity basketball team has improved its record to 6-4 this season with a narrow 63-60 victory in the opening round of the DeKalb Christmas Tournament.
Wyatt Carlson led all scorers with 26 points, while Max Gabriel contributed 16 points to help secure the win. According to reports, the game was closely contested throughout, but West’s strong offensive performance in the final minutes ensured their victory. Carlson’s scoring and Gabriel’s contribution were pivotal to the team’s success.
West is scheduled to return to action tomorrow at noon for the second round of the tournament. The team aims to build on its strong start and continue advancing in the competition.
