The LWW Lady Warriors are heading to the WJOL championship game after a decisive 55-28 victory over Joliet West.

The win, which is a great stepping stone to propel them throughout the rest of the season, was highlighted by standout performances from Mackenzie Roesner, Caroline Smith, and Molly Finn.

Roesner led the charge with 14 points, showcasing her scoring ability and leadership on the court. Smith added 12 points, including several crucial three-pointers, while Finn contributed 11 points and played a key role in the Warriors’ defensive efforts.

The game was a dominant display for the Warriors, who never trailed after the first quarter. Joliet West struggled to contain LWW’s fast-paced offense and defensive pressure, as the Lady Warriors consistently expanded their lead.

LWW’s defense, led by Finn’s ability to disrupt passing lanes, kept the Tigers off balance throughout the game. Despite Joliet West’s attempts to close the gap in the second half, the Lady Warriors’ sharp shooting and aggressive transition game proved too much to overcome.
